The comfortable hand form came from exploring different shapes.
Base sizes
Because the base is made from a single plank of wood it can be cut into eight different sizes.
Walnut
The scoop is carved entirely from hardwood, Walnut, which allows the scoop to be fairly thin at the end.
Treated
The wood is treated to be able to withstand the moisture of the ice cream.
